Are you tired of waiting in line for a game of
Shuffleboard? Just kidding. Seems as though the shine has worn off the
game that was so popular among British Soldiers, that King Henry VIII imposed a ban on “Shovel Board” so they could spend more time
practicing archery.

With variations such as Horse Collar and Crazy Eight
it’s a game that warrants more than a few calls of “I’ve got winner,” yet too
often you’ll find the pucks resting
right where you left them.
We can only assume it is a game in desperate need of an
“awareness” campaign, so here you go Pioneer Endicott residents, your
definitive HOW TO GUIDE for adding Shuffleboard to your next “Game Night.”
Common Rules
1. Alternate Turns
2. Land your Puck in the highest scoring area on the shuffleboard without falling into the Alley
3. Score by landing your Puck(s) farthest down the board
4. First player to 15 or 21 (both common) wins!
There you have it!
