St. Paul Art Crawl, 2014

Make sure to read the whole post; there is helpful information all the way to the bottom!

Since 1977 the Saint Paul Art Collective has been hosting an art exhibition of sorts, beginning at the Union Depot, and eventually becoming a three-day, semi-annual event in all of Saint Paul - the Saint Paul Art Crawl (SPAC).

Now in it's 23rd year, the SPAC features over 300 (400 this year) artists in at least 24 locations, mainly in Lowertown near Pioneer Endicott, but also in Downtown, West Side, Midway, Grand, and East Side. You can view all locations here.

With an average of 20,000 visitors per year, Saint Paul can proudly say that it's model for the event has been emulated in cities all over the country. The appeal is the variety of creations and the feeling of connectedness that comes form the artists being able to interact with the community on all levels. The studio doors will be open, and the artists will be demonstrating, conversing, and maybe even dancing along to the live musical performances! To make it even more interactive, pick up a 'passport' and get stamps to be entered to win prizes such as an iPad mini! This is such a unique, fun event that you won't want to miss!
